The photos you show of the 'ballroom' (originally the lecture theatre)and the gymnasium are the same space. The gym was elsewhere.Nathan Alexandernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323652056292236103.post-89771845629201247862010-12-24T01:18:37.013+11:002010-12-24T01:18:37.013+11:00Thanks Melbourne MOD, glad you enjoyed. Thanks Melbourne MOD, glad you enjoyed.Gillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09170302525123916575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323652056292236103.post-84635645092135148932010-12-14T21:03:51.886+11:002010-12-14T21:03:51.886+11:00wonderful post and your photos are excellent.

But precious little on the use of the internal spaces. And even fewer photos of the internal spaces.

What an incredible public facility it could be again, if only it was looked after properly. But then I suppose we can be lucky that the entire building wasn't destroyed in the 1960s and 1970s.

Thanks for the link
Hels
http://melbourneblogger.blogspot.com/2010/12/sharing-caring-australian-railways-1910.htmlHelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849907428208235392noreply@blogger.com
